Women on Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

When: Sat., March 25, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 2017

In celebration of Women's History Month, join RIT Libraries in improving the representation of women on Wikipedia by editing or writing entries about notable women. No experience is necessary. RIT librarians will teach you the best practices of Wikipedia, how to create an account, and how to use Wikipedia's editing tools. You may drop in for half an hour or longer; no need to stay all day. Refreshments will be provided. People of all gender identities and expressions are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Computers limited: bring a laptop or tablet if you have one.
