Susan B. Anthony Tour

Rochester based Woman’s and African American equality activists Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass gained national stature as reform leaders during the 1800s. However, less well-known Rochester women and men from varied walks of life and ethnic backgrounds became the army of volunteers who began a revolution that laid the groundwork for extending full citizenship rights to all Americans.
