Linkages of Rochester and the Eastman Community Music School will celebrate Rochester’s connection to its sister city of Veliky Novgorod. Featuring faculty and students of the Eastman Community Music School, the concert will be a diverse program of music by Russian composers, include works by Veliky Novgorod’s native son, Sergei Rachmaninoff. The hour-long concert will be followed by a reception of Russian treats and sweets in Cominsky Promenade, located on the second floor of the Eastman School of Music. There will be an exhibit of photos of Veliky Novgorod and a silent auction of items from Russia.
