Wolff’s first novel, "Bret Easton Ellis and the Other Dogs," is set in a run-down Spanish brothel where the prostitutes collect stray dogs and name them after famous male writers: Dante, Chaucer, Bret Easton Ellis. Meanwhile, a teenage girl is trying to trace the peculiarities of her life back to one woman: Alba Cambó, a writer of violent short stories.
