The Geneseo Jazz Ensemble will showcase "Jazz" and celebrate the history and spirit of an art form that has influenced all of American popular music. The Ensemble will be performing music in the swing, funk, and latin styles, which will demand a high level of versatility. The Jazz Combo will be presenting solos they have transcribed of artists such as Miles Davis, BillWatrous, and J.J Johnson in addition to their own solos.
