From March to May, 1943, Warsaw ghetto residents revolted against their Nazi oppressors. In this documentary, resistance ringleader Marek Edelman narrates the history of their uprising. Speaking over Nazi archival footage, Edelman recalls coordinating the residents' weapons and battle strategies after being forcibly relocated alongside other Poles, organizing resistance fighters against relentless German attacks, and memorializing his long-fallen comrades.
