Art: What does life look like through the eyes of today's teenagers? Well, you could probably spend a few minutes perusing images on Facebook or Instagram to find out. But if you're looking for more enlightening and intelligible perspectives, you can see the work of Rochester's teenage artists at this year's Through the Student Lens exhibit, which continues at Image City Photography Gallery (722 University Ave.) through Apr. 14. The free show features photography by students from 17 area high schools, including the Harley School, Webster Shroeder, Pittsford Sutherland, and Our Lady of Mercy. Image City is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Lecture: Do polar bears stand a chance of surviving climate change? Will tigers still be able to reproduce for generations to come? Learn more about what science and new technologies can do for endangered species in Breeding Endangered Species, a lecture at the Rochester Museum and Science Center (657 East Ave.) starting at 7:30 p.m. Terri Roth, vice president of conservation and science at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden in Ohio, will discuss recent advancements in reproductive sciences for endangered species, as part of the museum's monthly Science on the Edge lecture series.
